Overnight at the Arusha Serena Hotel. (BLD)

TRIBAL VILLAGE VISIT
There is a tribal village visit included in each safari. In Kenya we will visit with the Samburu Tribe and in Tanzania the visit will be with the Maasai Tribe. They are both very similar with almost identical presentations. Folklore has it that they are descendants from two brothers. One liked beads and moved north and became the Samburu while the other brother who liked leather and the color red moved south and became the Maasai.

Kenya vs. Tanzania
One of the most asked questions of me is which is better, Kenya or Tanzania. My answer, they are both great and both have a lot to offer. Neither is better than the other and you will be very happy with the one you choose. They both have different but similar features to offer.
In Kenya, you have a larger exposure to the real African culture as travel between the parks. well as a few more varieties of animals.
In Tanzania, with the exception of a few tribal villages you have a solid 5 days of pure wilderness and wildlife.
In Kenya, with the inclusion of Samburu, Buffalo Springs National Reserves there is a larger variety of wildlife. This includes three of the nine types of giraffe distributed throughout Africa.
In Tanzania, you have the Eighth Natural Wonder of the World, Ngorongoro Crater.
In Kenya, most of the game drives are out and back between the meals.
In Tanzania, with the size of the Serengeti and the nature of the Ngorongoro Crater, there will be a few full day game drives.
In Kenya, you will have the Great Migration in the Masai Mara, National Reserve.
In Tanzania, you will have a large elephant migration in Tarangire National Park.
In Kenya’s Amboseli National Park you have great unobstructed views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
In Tanzania, Mt. Kilimanjaro is one of the country’s great treasures.
In Kenya, you will have awesome, personable, knowledgeable and English speaking Kenyan driver/guides.
In Tanzania, , you will have awesome, personable, knowledgeable and English speaking Tanzanian driver/guides.
In Kenya, you will stay in great lodges and enjoy great food.
In Tanzania, you will stay in great lodges and enjoy great food.
If you are lucky enough to do Lynne’s Safari (Kenya and Tanzania) all the parks differ from each other. Each with its own character.
As I said above, you will be happy with either country. You will meet great people, see amazing scenery all while on an amazing adventure.
Karibu (Welcome)

Each tour will have 4 4×4 vehicles with 5 to 6 people per vehicle plus a driver/guide. Typically, I rotate between the vehicles.
