*Children under the age of 5 years not allowed at Treetops.

Treetops was originally built in a fig tree, estimated to be 300 years old. The original 2 room structure was expanded to 4 rooms when Princess Elizabeth and her husband, Prince Philip stayed there as personal guests of the owners on 5th February 1952. They awoke the next morning to learn that her father had died in his sleep and that she was now queen. The present lodge was built in 1957 after the tree, and 4 rooms within, were burnt down in 1954.
